Unity by MD is not your typical medical spa. We are a physician-led integrative medspa in Modesto, California — built on the belief that lasting aesthetic and wellness results come from understanding the whole person, not just treating the surface.
With on-site MDs guiding every treatment plan, we go beyond what most spas offer. Our physicians are trained to identify and address the root causes behind common concerns — whether that's muscle laxity, pelvic floor dysfunction, body composition, skin quality, or low energy. That medical foundation is what sets us apart.
Our core focus is advanced, non-invasive technology: Emsculpt NEO® for body contouring and muscle building, Emsella® for pelvic floor health, IV nutrition therapy, and medical weight management. For patients who want the full spectrum of aesthetic care, we also offer injectables — but they're one tool in a much broader, more thoughtful approach to wellness.

Tana Seneewong, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Tana Seneewong serves as the Medical Director of Unity by MD and is a full-time Emergency Medicine physician. With a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to patient safety, he brings precision, integrity, and thoughtful oversight to every aspect of care at Unity by MD. His experience in high-acuity medicine ensures that patients receive treatments grounded in both science and safety.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Seneewong enjoys snowboarding and collecting Pokémon and anime memorabilia — a reflection of his appreciation for both adventure and creativity.
Karen Rayos, MD
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Karen Rayos is the CEO of Unity by MD and a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a special focus in women's health and obstetrics. She is passionate about empowering patients at every stage of life, blending medical expertise with a personalized, compassionate approach to care. Her leadership reflects a commitment to excellence, innovation, and creating a welcoming environment for every patient.
Outside of work, Dr. Rayos enjoys traveling with her husband, relaxing in Hawaii, spending time with her dog Mochi, and embracing life with energy and adventure.
Jennifer Tang
IV Hydration Nurse | Emsella Trained
Jennifer Tang is a skilled IV Hydration Nurse and Emsella-trained provider dedicated to delivering attentive, patient-centered care. She is passionate about helping patients feel revitalized, confident, and supported throughout their wellness journey. Her approachable demeanor and commitment to excellence make her a valued part of the Unity by MD team.
Outside of the clinic, Jennifer enjoys fitness, practicing jiu jitsu, exploring new foods, and spending quality time with her teenage son and family.
Vanessa Arteaga
Back Office | Emsculpt NEO & Emsella Trained
Vanessa Arteaga supports both clinical operations and patient experience at Unity by MD. Trained in Emsculpt NEO and Emsella treatments, she is dedicated to ensuring each patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their visit. Her attention to detail and warm personality contribute to a seamless and positive experience.
Outside of work, Vanessa is a proud Yorkie mom, history and book enthusiast, and former professional gamer — balancing knowledge, curiosity, and fun in everything she does.
Dalia
Front & Back Office Coordinator
Dalia serves as a Front and Back Office Coordinator at Unity by MD, where she supports patients throughout every step of their visit. With a natural passion for helping others feel beautiful and confident, she contributes to the welcoming and uplifting environment that defines the practice. Her enthusiasm and dedication make her an important part of the patient experience.
Currently a senior in high school, Dalia balances her academic goals with her work at Unity by MD. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, running her clothing resale business, and spending time with friends.
